Ok, I am not the biggest fan of Obama. My overall opinion is that, while he isnt the best, he is DEFINITELY not the worst. However, look at the Republican canidates. Really, just look at them. These have to be some of the most racist, sexist, homophobic, ignorant, stupid, most backwards-thinking people I have ever seen. EVER. EVERRRRRR.

Getting into graduate school is weird.
I don’t think I’d ever had a long-term goal before this. Obviously there have been standard ones like finishing college and finding a sexy man to settle down with, but everything I’ve explicitly worked towards has always been very short-sighted, like getting an A on a test or waking up in time to shower the next morning. It is the weirdest, most fulfilling feeling to look back...
